# Crowning

A new market shares its tickers with any copy. When its pool reaches about $12K TVL, the market is crowned. From then on, its tickers are permanent.

The threshold is set in the pool’s own asset. In dollars it moves with that asset’s price, so a crown can come above or below $12K.

## A crown ends the copy war

On a launchpad, a hot coin gets copied dozens of times. The money splits, and nobody knows which copy is real.

On R8 the market that draws the crowd wins the crown. After that, no new market can launch with its two tickers. One name, one pool, one price.
